In 2014, Sivuvalo, in co-edition with [Radiador] Magazine and other five organizations, developed its first compilation with the work of trans-cultural writers based in Finland. The book was published in several languages as away to make clear the problematic of translation that authors with immigrant background have to deal. The book includes authors from Peru, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Nicaragua, Russia, Basil, Somalia and Finland.
The book is partly handmade and it was elaborated with recycled materials, influenced by the Latin American Cartonero editorial movement. Simultaneously, the book was released in a free digital version that can be downloaded as well.
The 18.6.2014 we had our first official presentation of the book at Third Space gallery with a video projection of Sivuvalo Book Trailer and a poetry reading of the authors Maila-Kaarina Rantanen, Tanya Tynjälä and Rosamaría Bolóm, with the special participation of Colombian cellist Sergio Castrillón. The 16.8.2014 we had a second presentation at Arkadia International Bookshop with a poetry reading of the authors David Gambarte and Tanya Tynjälä.
The 25.6.2014 we organize a book workshop taught by the editor and designer Daniel Malpica at the facilities of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.

[Radiador], Sivuvalo ja Into Kustannus julkaisevat yhdessä libro cartonero –runokokoelman.
