Last January 23th writer and translator Aya Chalabee was at Töölö library talking about her literary work. This event was part of Suomalaista Kirjallisuuta series organized by Sivuvalo and Helsingin seudo kesäyliopisto.
The entire event was full house with audience from different languages communities, and many interesting questions were asked by poet Zoila Forss, who hosted the discussion. The public could make questions in English, Finnish, Arabic and Spanish. Aya red her works in Arabic, her mother tongue. Translations of her texts into Finnish and English were available.
